Four Steps to resolving your dispute
Welcome to our Appointments Service, your first step to resolving your dispute with expert guidance. Our dispute resolution professionals are committed to helping you find satisfactory solutions to your disputes.
You can appoint your specialist dispute resolution expert by following the 4 Steps as follows:-
Step 1
Submit an enquiry form
Fill out our online form to provide as much information as possible about your case.
Our Admin Team use this to identify any deadlines, to estimate costs and identify the best Direct Access Resolution Expert for you. It is helpful to provide the names of the other parties (if you know them), what stage you are at and the name of any court involved (if any).

Step 2
Speak to one of our advisers
After carefully reviewing your form, a specially trained adviser will get in touch to confirm if your case is suitable for one of our Direct Access Resolution Experts. If your case is suitable, they will explain the process in more detail and recommend a Direct Access Resolution Expert. They can also answer any questions you may have and provide details of the fees and costs and approximate time frame. This will be set out in in Step 3 – Appointment Agreement.
Step 3
Appointment Agreement
Once our Direct Access Resolution Expert has agreed in principle to undertake your case, you will be sent an Appointment Agreement. This sets out in detail the nature of the appointment, a description of the dispute, the work involved and a details of the fees and costs involved. The quoted fees and costs must be paid in full before the Direct Access Resolution Expert is permitted to start any works.
Costs may vary depending on the requirements of each case, seniority of the Resolution Expert and amount of work and time needed. Costs can be either a fixed fee for the work agreed or an hourly rate with an agree limit. More details on fees and costs are described in our FAQs here. The Appointment Agreement will provide details of the fees and cost, how to pay, cancellation fees and refunds. It also describes what happens if additional work and costs are required so there are no ‘hidden fees’.
Step 4
Appointing a Resolution Expert
If you decide to appoint the Resolution Expert you’ll be asked by our Admin Team to sign the Appointment Agreement. Once you have signed it you’ll then need to pay the estimated fees and costs by direct bank transfer. Once payment has been received, our Direct Access Resolution Expert will start work on your case.
As Direct Access Resolution Experts undertake all their work personally, there may be times when they are unavailable or an unexpected tribunal or other commitment affects the proposed timeline. They will keep you up to date if there are any potential delays or changes which may affect you so you know where you stand.
